An HRC55 End Mill is a high-quality tool for metal cutting that has good adaptability to various materials. Generally, it is used for parts made from steel, including carbon and alloy steel, cast iron, and high-hard steel. It is also suitable for quenched workpieces. HRC55 end mill bits have a good chip-removal capacity, which means that they can cut through materials of various hardness levels. It is available in different specifications to meet different types of requirements. This type of tool is also stable and produces consistent performance.

A HRC55 End Mill is made from high-quality titanium carbide, which provides a superior finish for workpieces. Moreover, this tool features 0.5um grain size and super TiCN-MP coating, which reduces tool friction and increases tool life. HRC55 end mill is also suitable for cutting non-ferrous alloy steel. Therefore, it can be used for machining parts in aerospace and medical equipment. In addition, it is easy to maintain.

The types of end mills vary according to the cutting operations. The most common type of end mills is square, and they are suitable for a wide variety of milling applications. Corner-radius end mills have slightly rounded corners that spread the cutting force evenly. They also produce flat-bottomed grooves. Meanwhile, roughing end mills can remove a large amount of material, with little vibration. However, they leave a rough finish.

The number of flutes in an end mill also affects the speed of cutting. The more flutes the tool has, the smoother its cutting surfaces will be. In general, a tool with three or four flutes provides more clearance for the chips during the cutting process. Moreover, it is stronger and produces a smoother surface finish than a mill with four or more flutes. In short, a 3 or four fluted end mill can cut aluminium more smoothly than a four-fluted tool.
